Join us for two relaxing days of hand stitching in the beautiful Montville hills.

No machines needed — just your needle, thread, and a love of creating!

Retreat cost: $265

Included in your weekend:

A fabulous goodie bag with 3 brand new projects

2 pre-printed designs on fabric, ready to learn how to colour and stitch

Fabric packs and mini workshops including:

• Slow Stitching with Libby — unwind, learn, and enjoy the art of mindful stitching

• Colouring your stitchery designs

• Basic hand stitching with the talented Karleen, sharing her tips and tricks for perfect stitching

• Needleturn appliqué and maybe even a hexie demo for those who’ve never tried — be warned, you’ll be hooked once you do!

Lunch, afternoon tea, and endless cups of tea and coffee both days — and maybe even a few Saturday afternoon sippers!

Extra Shopping Therapy

For those who love a bit of retail bliss, we’ll also be joined by Marion and Steph from The Quilters Angel!

They’ll be visiting with their famous little pink trailer, packed to the brim with stitching goodness — the perfect treat for some extra shopping therapy during the weekend!

Please note: If you are local to the Sunshine cost you’re very welcome to just book for stitching retreat, you don't have to book accommodation.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the retreat price.

The Mountain Inn Montville has kindly booked out the entire venue for our group and is now taking individual bookings.

I highly recommend this lovely venue — it’s right across the road from our stitching venue, located in the heart of Montville’s main street, and offers very reasonable rates.

You are very welcome to find your own accommodation if this is not suitable. So many places to stay in Montville.

Be sure to book your accommodation as soon as possible!

Rooms will only be held at the Mountain Inn for a limited time. No upfront costs are needed, so take a peek at the rooms, organize who you’d like to share with, and get your bookings in early.

If the Mountain Inn is booked out please try the Altitude, Ph: 07 54 78 5889 this is 300meters away from The Mountain Inn  OR have a look around on google as lots of accommodation place in Montville and also Air bnb houses to share with your group.

If you’re travelling from interstate, please arrange your own flights.

Why not fly in on Wednesday or Thursday so you can enjoy a full day exploring Montville before the retreat begins — and perhaps stay on Sunday night to spend a relaxing day in nearby Maleny?

Montville and Maleny are the art and craft hubs of the Sunshine Coast — gorgeous little towns full of charm, inspiration, and creativity. They’re both absolutely worth a visit!

A Little Note

I know some of you might be a little disappointed that the weekend falls on Father’s Day Sunday, but after juggling so many dates, it was almost impossible to avoid everything.

So, my apologies to all the wonderful dads — we’ll raise a toast to you during our Saturday sippers!

Bookings & Deposits

It’s time to chat with your family and friends and see what groups you can get together! Don’t forget you’re always more than welcome to come along on your own, lots do and make life long friendships.

A booking button will be added to my website by the end of next week.

A $65 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.

If booking with friends, please purchase all tickets together and send me an email with everyone’s names so I can make sure you’re seated together.

The remaining $200 will be due in early 2026 — I’ll let you know when the payment link goes live next year. You’ll also have the option to use PayPal Pay in 4 installments for convenience.
